Changing time zone on the Casio Wave Ceptor WVA-430J

Changing time zone on the Casio Wave Ceptor WVA-430J Video Clips. Duration : 0.58 Mins.

Here I am changing the time zone on my Wave Ceptor watch. It's a bit tricky to figure out, but this video should help. (And I think it's fun to watch!) First, note that I start in "timekeeping mode," in which the digital screen is displaying the seconds/date/time. If you're not in this mode, press the bottom-left button until you're there. I then hold down the top-left button. Note how the second hand zooms to the 12:00 position and stays there. Neat, huh? "AT" is now flashing on the screen. I release that button and press once on the bottom-left button. "TYO" flashes for Tokyo. Following that, I press the bottom right button to cycle east through the time zones . . . Sydney, Honolulu, Denver, until I get to "NYC" for Eastern Time. And then (still with me?), I press twice on the top-left button, first to indicate that I'm OK with 12-hour mode, and then to complete the move. Watch how (A the minute and hour hands move backward on their own (I'm not doing that manually!), and (B the second hand moves down in accordance with the exact atomic time! You can manually initiate the sync, or it will do it on its own at night. At any rate, I found the self-moving hands pretty cool.
